Recently went back to my hometown and had a casual dinner. A flatbread (filled with salted duck egg, spicy scrambled eggs, shredded potatoes, and stir-fried bean sprouts), paired with two chive buns, and a bowl of porridge. All together, it only cost eight yuan. Converted to U, it’s just a little over 1U.

While sitting there eating, I was thinking—losing a few hundred U or even a few thousand U in the market, that’s all too common. Although I wouldn’t consider myself wealthy, I’ve never experienced losing over ten thousand U, a hundred thousand U, or even dozens of thousands of U at once. But these numbers, combined, are enough to buy me this kind of dinner for many years.

Sometimes, this kind of contrast is right in front of you. The cheapest meal in life, versus a casual loss in a trading account—when compared, the feeling is really different.

Luban No.7 is conducting a sociology experiment again. This time, not only mastering smart contract vulnerabilities but also philosophy of life... Honestly, the impact of a $1 meal is indeed much more shocking than the arbitrage strategies that theoretically should be feasible.

A meal costs 1U, and a single loss can be tens of thousands of U. This comparison is a bit suffocating.

Damn, a meal for 1U? That's incredible. I can get wiped out once and eat for years... Just thinking about it hurts. This is the crypto life, brother.

A meal costs 1U, while a liquidation can wipe out hundreds of thousands of U. The gap is truly outrageous... Sometimes, it's better to have more of these meals to remind yourself not to trade recklessly.

Really, any rug pull is more expensive than this meal... Watching how much money is packed into the funds that drop to zero within 24 hours, right? The profits from early addresses moving bricks might only be enough to cover a few years of such meals. Most people just can't see the true on-chain flow.
