The blockchain virtual machine TBC ( BVM ) expands the capabilities of the Bitcoin script system, elevating the functionality and performance of smart contracts to a new level.
Although the original Bitcoin script could only handle simple validation logic, limiting its implementation in smart contracts, BVM supports more powerful and flexible smart contracts by adding a new opcode ( instruction set ) and extending data types.
