The CFTC officially launched a monitoring tool developed by Nasdaq to upgrade the surveillance infrastructure from the 1990s. This tool uses specialized algorithms to detect price manipulation, insider trading, and analyze real-time order book data, connecting both traditional and crypto markets. This is an important step for the US in tightening the regulation of the digital asset market.

⚖️ HashFlare Case
The U.S. has just appealed the sentence for the two co-founders of HashFlare – Sergei Potapenko and Ivan Turõgin. Previously, the court only announced "time served" after 16 months of detention in Estonia. The U.S. government is seeking a 10-year sentence, accusing them of defrauding over $577M through the sale of fake mining contracts, causing significant harm to investors.
