🟢 According to Rich Widmann – Web3 Strategy Director at Google Cloud, GCUL aims to become a neutral and high-performance infrastructure for financial organizations, supporting smart contracts written in Python and integration through a single API to automate payments and manage digital assets.
🟢 GCUL is designed based on a permissioned blockchain model with a focus on regulatory compliance. However, this also raises questions in the community about whether it is truly "decentralized" or not.
