The collaboration agreement between BlackRock and Circle has been revealed. Both parties have agreed that over the next four years, BlackRock will be the preferred partner for Circle's stablecoin reserves and will not issue competing US dollar payment stablecoins. Circle must entrust at least 90% of its US dollar reserves to BlackRock for management, while BlackRock is not allowed to launch its own stablecoin.
