The Altcoin Founder Claimed to be Dead Raises Suspicion with Sale: Liquidated 100 Thousand Dollars! - Coin Bulletin
Bubblemaps revealed that despite rumors of Zerebro project’s developer Jeffy Yu’s suicide, over 100 thousand dollars worth of ZEREBRO and LLJEFFY tokens were sold from his wallet.
A noteworthy development has occurred recently in the cryptocurrency community. According to an examination by the blockchain analysis platform Bubblemaps, wallet addresses linked to Jeffy Yu, who is known as the developer of the Zerebro project and was allegedly reported to have committed suicide, carried out active transactions after the publication of the death notice. This situation has raised doubts about whether the developer has truly passed away.
In a statement made from Bubblemaps’ social media account, it was noted that over $100,000 worth of ZEREBRO tokens were sold from wallet addresses known to belong to Jeffy Yu, and that LLJEFFY tokens were being traded. Furthermore, according to information conveyed by Wu Blockchain, the Legacy platform that published Yu’s obituary has removed the related announcement from its site.
Cryptocurrency transactions raised suspicions after the death announcement.
This development in the cryptocurrency community has raised serious questions about the reality of the claims regarding Jeffy Yu’s death. After the news of a person’s death was published, the occurrence of large amounts of token sales from crypto wallets known to belong to him increased concerns that the incident could be an exit scam (exit scam).
According to Bubblemaps’ findings, transactions from the mentioned addresses occurred days after the publication of the death notice. This situation strengthens suspicions that Yu was alive and that the suicide news may have been used to mislead investors. The removal of the announcement by the platform that published the death notice is also regarded as another development supporting these doubts.
