India launched an attack resulting in the death of 8 people in Pakistan, and Pakistan shot down 5 Indian fighter jets, including 3 Rafales.

Around 5:10 AM local time on May 7th, a spokesperson for the Pakistan Armed Forces confirmed that Pakistan has shot down 5 Indian aircraft to date, including 3 Rafales, 1 MiG, and 1 Su-30. He also stated that skirmishes between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control in Kashmir are still ongoing. As of now, the Indian side has not responded to the aforementioned news. On the morning of the 7th, it was reported by sources that the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force used precision strike weapon systems during the ‘Sindhur Operation’ earlier that day, successfully targeting 9 sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir with missile strikes, 5 of which are located in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Indian media reported that Prime Minister Modi has been closely monitoring the ‘Sindhur Operation’ throughout the night.
