At the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting, Buffett stated that so far this year, we have not done any stock buybacks, and our company's buyback mechanism is relatively conservative. The company will incur high taxes from repurchasing its own stock, "this does reduce the attractiveness of buybacks somewhat," Buffett said, adding that if the company believes its stock is almost certainly undervalued, it will engage in stock buybacks.
