On April 13, 2025, the OM token of the MANTRA project, focused on tokenized real-world assets (RWA), experienced a sharp price drop of over 90% within less than two hours. This caused a wave of concern among investors and suspicions of abuse or a hacking attack.
According to TradingView, the asset's price fell from $5.7 to approximately $0.38—a 93% drop in two hours. As of the time of writing, the token's value stands at nearly $0.68.
