PANews, September 23, news, Blockchain IP platform Story and the AI-driven game creation tool Verse8 announced a collaboration to bring Moonbirds and Azuki IP into Verse8 user-generated games.
Story will serve as a permissioned infrastructure to manage IP usage on its L1 network. Verse8 allows users to create 2D and 3D multiplayer games using natural language prompts without the need for programming, and registers the content on the blockchain for revenue sharing.
This collaboration will integrate the Moonbirds and Azuki series into Verse8's AI game builder, allowing users to customize IP and monetize content through in-game purchases and brand expansions. Revenue distribution is recorded through smart contracts on the Story Blockchain, ensuring the interests of IP holders, creators, and NFT holders. The collaboration will debut on September 23 at the Seoul Origin Summit, and in the coming months, users will be able to release community-created games featuring Moonbirds and Azuki characters.
Verse8 was co-founded by Jake Song, co-founder of Nexon, along with industry partners such as Planetarium Labs, to lower the barriers to game development using AI technology.
