Prices for the collectibles jumped at least 500 percent Monday morning New York time, with the cheapest collectible selling for $81 and the most expensive at $749, according to data from the Veve Collectible app. Known for creating many famous superheroes, including Spiderman, Hulk and Iron Man, Stan Lee is known as the father of Marvel. Kartoon said in a statement that the release commemorates the famed comic book author's 100th birthday, and that details about the next phase of the Stan Lee NFT sale have yet to be revealed.
