Golden Finance reported that Javier Rodriguez-Alarcon, former managing director of Goldman Sachs Group, will join the cryptocurrency investment company XBTO. The company is the uniform sponsor of Major League Soccer (MLS) team Inter Miami, which includes soccer superstar Lionel Messi. The company announced on the 13th that Rodriguez-Alarcon’s responsibilities as chief commercial officer will include overseeing XBTO’s business expansion into new products and asset management strategies. He will join XBTO at the end of this month. Javier Rodriguez-Alarcon will serve as global head of portfolio management for public equity clients in the asset management segment. He also leads the unit’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) quantitative investing group.
