A BlackRock aumentou a classificação dos títulos de dívida do Reino Unido, apostando em um corte mais rápido nas taxas de juros do Banco Central do Reino Unido
A BlackRock Research Department has upgraded the rating of UK government bonds from neutral to overweight, saying that the Bank of England's interest rate cut will be faster than market expectations. BlackRock strategists, including Wei Li, wrote in their weekly report, 'We maintain an overweight view. UK bond yields offer attractive returns, and given the weak economy, we believe that the Bank of England's interest rate cut will exceed market expectations.' In the past week, BlackRock has become the latest major institution to endorse UK bonds, following similar views expressed by strategists at Goldman Sachs and Legal & General Investment Management. Despite the growing support, UK bonds have still lagged behind similar products as the market believes that the Bank of England will not be as aggressive as the US Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank.
