Local time on April 5, U.S. President Trump, during an interview, said that the United States is currently engaged in “deep negotiations” with Iran, and that an agreement could be reached before the April 7 final deadline set by him.

Two sources said that the talks are being conducted through intermediaries in Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, and there has also been communication between Trump’s advisers and Iran’s foreign minister.
