ME News message, April 4 (UTC+8). After Anthropic announced it would ban OpenClaw, its founder, Peter Steinberger, urgently clarified: OpenClaw is an independently operated project, and it has no connection to his personal joining of OpenAI. He said that OpenClaw had proactively invited Anthropic and more than a dozen other companies to join its nonprofit organization, but Anthropic did not respond; most of the other companies have already replied. Since Peter joined OpenAI in February, Anthropic cut off Claude’s subscription support for OpenClaw for reasons of resource optimization. (Source: PANews)
