The ratios in this image represent the institutional ownership percentages, indicating how much of Coinbase Global, Inc.'s (COIN) shares are owned by specific institutional investors or funds.
What Do Share Percentages Mean?
Each percentage listed shows the proportion of shares held by that institution relative to the total number of shares in the company.
For example:
Vanguard Group owns 11.84% of Coinbase's total shares. This makes it the company's largest institutional partner. BlackRock Advisors owns a 5.983% stake.
My personal opinion is that the three major owners collectively hold about 20-25% of the market. They haven't captured the majority of the "pie." Instead of crushing the competition, they could logically share more with others, making it easier to gather the remaining shares.
But there's a scorpion in their pockets. It's always the same with me, Lord...!
