Yemeni people hold large-scale rallies in support of Iran

On March 27 local time, large-scale rallies were held in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, and in areas controlled by the various Houthi forces, to mark the 11th anniversary of the outbreak of the Yemeni conflict and to express support for Iran. Analysis suggests that if tensions between the U.S., Israel, and Iran continue, the Houthis would not rule out sealing off the Strait of Mandeb again, and the situation in the Red Sea may grow tense once more. The safety of the Red Sea route—one of the most important shipping corridors globally—will face new challenges. (CCTV International News)
