On February 28 local time, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officially announced the launch of a cross-border strike operation codenamed “True Promise 4.” According to a series of consecutive announcements it released, the purpose of this operation is to retaliate for what it describes as the acts of aggression by the United States and Israel against Iranian territory.
