On April 3, Yan Zhen, Party Secretary of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and Director of the Department, led a delegation to conduct a special research visit to Duphoto to learn about the company’s production and operations, technology R&D, project construction, and other related matters. Li Shijiang, Party Secretary of the Duphoto Group, and Li Yunfeng, the company’s Chairman, received the delegation.

Yan Zhen’s team conducted an on-site inspection of the Fluoride-based New Materials Innovation Center and the key materials project for an annual output of 100k tons of lithium-ion battery electrolyte. They gained a detailed understanding of the company’s core technology breakthroughs and industrialization progress in fields such as new energy materials and electronic information materials.

At the exchange and symposium, Li Yunfeng provided a focused report on the excellent development momentum of Duphoto, the progress of cooperation with well-known domestic enterprises, the planning of key projects, and the issue of limited space they are facing at present. Director Yan Zhen listened carefully to the report and gave full affirmation to the contributions Duphoto has made to local economic development.

Yan Zhen pointed out that as a leading enterprise in our province’s new energy industry chain, Duphoto has been committed to the R&D, production, and sales of fluoride-based new materials products. It has achieved multiple breakthrough results in “bottleneck” technology tackling, such as in lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) and electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid. Especially since this year, both production and sales of its products have been strong, and its competitiveness has been clearly enhanced. The company has established a good brand image and reputation within the industry.

Yan Zhen emphasized that Duphoto should continuously strengthen its status as an innovation mainstay, increase efforts in technological innovation, accelerate the iteration and upgrading of key technologies, and promote development toward higher-end and more intelligent directions, so as to provide exemplary guidance for the high-quality development of the new materials industry across the province. At the same time, it should seize the strategic opportunities of the rapid development of the new energy industry, speed up project construction, strengthen cooperation with leading downstream enterprises, and strive to grow and strengthen the company, adding new momentum to Henan Province’s industrial upgrading and economic development.
