China’s first 300-megawatt non-firing compressed air energy storage power station—the Feicheng Compressed Air Energy Storage Power Station—has completed the stator hoisting and placement.

Recently, in China’s first 300-megawatt-class non-reheat compressed-air energy storage power plant, the China Energy Construction Feicheng 2×300-megawatt salt-cavern compressed-air energy storage power plant Unit 2 generator stator was precisely lifted into place. This successful key lifting operation has laid the core groundwork for subsequent rotor installation and strongly supports the project’s construction schedule. After the project is completed, it is expected to complete 330 annual cycles, generating 1.19B kilowatt-hours per year, which can meet the annual electricity demand of 600k households.
