General Electric spinoff GE Vernova spends $70M on Rostraver warehouse

GE Vernova, a General Electric spinoff, acquired a 700,000-square-foot distribution center in Rostraver, Pennsylvania, for $70 million. The Massachusetts-based power generation equipment manufacturer plans to expand its Pennsylvania operations, including adding 250 jobs at its Speers factory and investing $100 million in facilities due to increased energy demand. GE Vernova is also supplying turbines for a new 4.5-gigawatt power plant in Homer City.
