The Iranian Parliament's National Security Committee has begun reviewing the control plan for the Strait of Hormuz.

Odaily Planet Daily News, according to Iran’s Majlis National Security Committee: the committee’s spokesperson, Ebrahim Raisayi, stated on the 6th local time that it has begun reviewing a proposal intended to exercise Iran’s sovereignty and to establish new arrangements and a legal framework for the Strait of Hormuz. The spokesperson said that at this meeting, the strategic action plan to ensure the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf was placed on the agenda, and that some of its contents have been reviewed and approved. After the National Security Committee completes all reviews, the proposal will be submitted to the Iranian Parliament plenary session for consideration. (CCTV)
