CaiJing Wang Min On March 26, CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CITIC Securities”) released its annual report for 2025, achieving growth in both revenue and net profit.

For the full year of 2025, CITIC Securities achieved an operating income of 74.854 billion yuan, an increase of 28.79% year-on-year; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 30.076 billion yuan, up 38.58% year-on-year.

By the end of 2025, CITIC Securities’ total asset scale reached 2.08 trillion yuan, an increase of 21.70% compared to the end of the previous year.

In 2025, the company completed 91 offshore equity projects. Calculated based on the average distribution of project issuance scale among all book managers, the underwriting scale was 7.911 billion USD. Among them, there were 51 IPO projects in the Hong Kong market and 32 refinancing projects. Based on the average distribution of project issuance scale among all book managers, the underwriting scale for equity financing business in the Hong Kong market was 7.549 billion USD, including benchmark projects such as Zijin Mining International, the second largest IPO in Hong Kong, Sany Heavy Industry, the third largest IPO in Hong Kong, and BYD’s placement, the largest refinancing in Hong Kong.

In 2025, Chairman Zhang Youjun, over sixty years old, received a salary of 2.3034 million yuan, the same as in 2024.

Zhang Youjun obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from Renmin University of China in 1987 and a master’s degree in economics from Central University of Finance and Economics in 1990. He is the party secretary, executive director, and chairman of the company. He joined the company when it was established in 1995 and was appointed as the executive director and chairman on January 19, 2016.

Zhang Youjun also serves as the assistant to the general manager of CITIC Group, CITIC Limited, and CITIC Securities, and as the vice chairman of CITIC Financial Holdings. He has held positions such as deputy manager, vice general manager, general manager, and director of the company, general manager of Changsheng Fund, general manager and chairman of CITIC Securities International, and director of the board office of CITIC Group.
