On March 28, according to the WSJ, U.S. President Trump spoke at the ‘Institute of International Finance Priority Summit’ in Miami Beach, discussing the war with Iran that has lasted nearly a month. When addressing the impact of the war on the stock market, he stated that he originally expected the conflict to have a more significant impact on the market. He said, ‘I thought the decline would be greater.’ He also added, ‘I thought oil prices would rise higher.’ The WSJ noted that the S&P 500 index has fallen for the fifth consecutive week, reaching its lowest level since August of last year.
