On March 4th local time, U.S. Secretary of Defense Peter Hegseth stated that the conflict between the U.S. and Iran could last for several weeks, possibly up to 8 weeks or even longer. He said that the pace of the conflict would be determined by the U.S., “which could be four weeks, six weeks, or possibly eight weeks,” and that the U.S. would control the speed and intensity of the actions.
