On March 23, Shanxi Lu’an Environmental Energy Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) announced that the Company participated in the public auction for the coal exploration right in Block Su Village, Xiangyuan County, Shanxi Province, and won the coal exploration right with a bid of RMB 8.222 billion.

The announcement said that the Company successfully won the coal exploration right in Block Su Village, Xiangyuan County, Shanxi Province. The block is adjacent to the Company’s headquarters location, and it borders the current mining area of the Wuyang Coal Mine. The location advantages are prominent. In the future, after the block is converted into a mining right, it may rely on the Wuyang Coal Mine’s existing production system to enable extension and follow-on mining. The resource endowment and mining conditions are excellent, and it is a high-quality follow-on resource that the Company has been prioritizing for the long term. Securing the exploration right in this round closely aligns with the development direction of the Company’s primary responsibilities and core business, fits the Company’s long-term resource strategy and layout, and will effectively increase the Company’s coal resource reserves. It will further improve the resource reserve structure, continuously enhance the Company’s core support capabilities and overall competitive advantages, and is of great significance for promoting the Company’s high-quality development and achieving long-term steady and sustainable development. The Company’s management team’s bidding for the resource in this instance has been authorized by the Company’s Eighth Session of the Board of Directors, 10th Meeting. The scope of authorization for the bidding activity and the amount of the bid results are within the authorization range approved by the Board of Directors. The bidding for this round will not have an adverse impact on the Company’s financial position, operating conditions, or existing business.
