Hexun Investment Advisor Zhang Tingyu: Is Electricity the Main Theme? How Should You Participate

Abstract generation in progress

If there is a main theme in the market, the market wouldn’t be so weak. According to Hexun Investment Advisor Zhang Tingyu, electricity is a sector that can be traversed, and this sector offers opportunities for participation at low levels. There are two key points: First, the current leader of the electricity sector has expanded into the market space, which creates a problem—there’s a big leader that has gone up 7 boards, possibly even 8 or 9 boards, while many smaller stocks are still at low levels. This creates a relative comparison effect: why can the big leader rise 7 or 8 boards, but can I catch up with a rebound? So, the first point is that the low position in the electricity sector presents opportunities. But how do we identify these low-level opportunities? I can share a small tip: when selecting stocks, look for electricity stocks that have hit the daily limit in the past five trading days. If they recently hit the limit, it indicates they have been recognized by funds. After hitting the limit, if they experience a two to three-day pullback without breaking below the initial limit point, this can be a good opportunity to buy low and expect a breakout. This means you can do some stealthy accumulation at the low, or even aim for the first limit-up at the low point—it’s a viable strategy for low-level trading.
