Chongqing Bank: Achieved a net profit attributable to shareholders of 5.654 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 10.49%
On March 24, Chongqing Bank disclosed its 2025 annual report. In 2025, the bank’s asset size exceeded 1 trillion yuan during the year. As of December 31, 2025, the group’s total assets were 1,033.726 billion yuan, an increase of 177.084 billion yuan from the end of the previous year, a growth of 20.67%. Total loans were 531.285 billion yuan, up 90.668 billion yuan from the end of last year, a rise of 20.58%. Total deposits were 565.704 billion yuan, an increase of 91.587 billion yuan compared to the previous year-end, a growth of 19.32%.
In 2025, the group achieved operating income of 15.113 billion yuan, a 10.48% increase year-over-year; net profit was 6.105 billion yuan, up 10.58% from the previous year; net profit attributable to the bank’s shareholders was 5.654 billion yuan, a 10.49% increase year-over-year. Both operating income and net profit growth rates exceeded 10%.
Regarding asset quality, as of December 31, 2025, the group’s non-performing loan ratio was 1.14%, down 0.11 percentage points from the end of the previous year; special mention loan ratio was 1.94%, down 0.70 percentage points; overdue loan ratio was 1.36%, down 0.37 percentage points; provision coverage ratio was 245.58%, an increase of 0.50 percentage points from the end of last year.
