Taking a "flying taxi" home for the Lunar New Year—Lower Yangtze River Delta low-altitude routes see booking surge

Since the start of this year’s Spring Festival travel rush, the low-altitude helicopter routes in the Yangtze River Delta have provided a new option for travelers. Some routes have been fully booked before the holiday, with high passenger occupancy. A helicopter departing smoothly from Shanghai Pudong landed at Laogang Pier in Nantong, Jiangsu. The one-way flight on this route takes about thirty minutes, reducing travel time by nearly 70% compared to traditional ground transportation. Currently, a low-altitude route network centered around Shanghai and linked with Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui is taking shape. Low-altitude helicopter routes to Nantong and other cities have been launched one after another, meeting the needs of Yangtze River Delta residents for cross-city travel, business commuting, and tourism.
