MGM Resorts Says Osaka Casino Could Challenge Marina Bay Sands
MGM Resorts is highly optimistic about its new casino in Osaka, Japan, believing it could rival established resorts like Las Vegas Sands’ Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and even challenge Macau’s dominance. CFO Jonathan Halkyard stated that MGM Osaka could be the largest and most successful integrated resort since Marina Bay Sands, a claim supported by CEO Bill Hornbuckle, who highlighted its exclusivity for years and proximity to major Chinese cities. Separately, MGM also secured approval for a new gaming experience at Park MGM to allow players to record and share their gameplay.
