Former U.S. Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Gene Ludwig-led banking licensing network Cari Network has selected Matter Labs' Prividium, which is based on ZKsync and anchored to Ethereum, as the underlying infrastructure to provide "stablecoin-like" on-chain payment and settlement tracks for U.S. regional and mid-sized banks. Banks including Huntington, First Horizon, M&T, KeyCorp, and Old National are reportedly participating in design and testing, with the project planning to launch an MVP by the end of March and conduct pilots in Q3.
