Did the Shenzhen real estate market truly stabilize after the rebound in the first two weeks of March?

Caixin: After the Spring Festival holiday, the Shenzhen real estate market has shown a significant rebound. According to market agency Shenzhen Beike Research Institute, the transaction volume of second-hand homes in Shenzhen has increased for three consecutive weeks (February 24 to March 15); over these three weeks, Beike’s signed contracts for second-hand homes at all Shenzhen locations increased by 15% year-on-year.

Data from Shenzhen Beike Research Institute shows that in the first week of March (March 2-8) and the second week (March 9-15), the signed contract volume for second-hand homes at all Beike locations in Shenzhen grew by 118% and 45% respectively compared to the previous week.

A Beike agent in Shenzhen told Caixin that during the first two weeks of March, the average daily signed contracts at all Beike locations in Shenzhen ranged between 100 and 200 units. On weekends, the daily average exceeded 150 units, whereas before the Spring Festival holiday, the daily average was no more than 100 units.
