Non-custodial exchange ChangeNOW has launched a "Private Send" feature integrated into its NOW wallet, which allows users to hide the direct association between sender and receiver addresses on public blockchains. When this option is enabled, funds are routed through ChangeNOW's infrastructure, preventing the sender's address from appearing in the receiver's transaction history. Pauline Shangett, the company's Chief Security Officer, stated that the tool is designed to counter default financial surveillance by analytics companies rather than regulators, and complies with standard anti-money laundering requirements. The service is available for most assets in the wallet and requires no additional technical knowledge.
