China CRRC Indirectly Controlled Subsidiary's 433 Million Yuan Project Environmental Assessment Approved
Daily Economic News AI Express: Data monitored by the “A-Share Green Report” project shows that CRRC (SH601766) indirectly controls Baishe CRRC Times New Energy Co., Ltd., and the environmental impact assessment approval for the Tianlin Gaolong Wind Farm has been granted. The total investment in the project amounts to 433 million yuan. This approval was disclosed by the relevant regulatory authorities on March 4, 2026.
Since September 2020, the Daily Economic News, in collaboration with the well-known environmental NGO Public Environment Research Center (IPE), has been collecting and analyzing authoritative data from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government), and 337 prefecture-level cities, including environmental quality, emissions, and pollution source regulation records. Weekly, they gather environmental information on thousands of listed companies in China and tens of thousands of their subsidiaries (including branch offices, shareholding companies, and controlling companies). The “A-Share Green Weekly” aims to leverage environmental databases and professional analysis and dissemination capabilities to make environmental information about listed companies’ operations in the capital market more transparent.
The previous issue (Issue 236) of the A-Share Green Weekly reported that seven listed companies recently exposed environmental risks.
CRRC mainly engages in the research, design, manufacturing, repair, sales, and leasing of railway locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars, high-speed trains, urban rail transit vehicles, and key components, as well as extending proprietary technology in rail transit equipment.
