On the 3rd local time, the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed that according to the latest satellite images, the entrance building of Iran’s Natanz underground nuclear facility has suffered some damage, but “no radiation consequences are expected,” and no further impact on the underground nuclear facility has been detected. It is reported that Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility was severely damaged during the conflict in June last year. During a special meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors on March 2, Iranian representative Reza Najafi stated that the United States and Israel carried out airstrikes on the Natanz nuclear facility on March 1. However, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said at the time that there was no evidence indicating that Iran’s nuclear facilities had been attacked. (CCTV News)
