Nvidia’s $1 Trillion Order Visibility ‘Beats the Bogey,’ Says Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo’s top analyst Aaron Rakers came away highly impressed by Nvidia’s NVDA +1.65% ▲ updated order visibility at its annual developer conference, GTC 2026. CEO Jensen Huang said that the chipmaker’s revenue opportunity could double to $1 trillion by 2027, fueled by surging demand for AI training and inference chips. Rakers noted that this marks a leap from the $500 billion revenue opportunity estimated last year for Blackwell and Rubin infrastructure through 2026, calling it a clear “beats the bogey.”

Rakers maintained his Buy rating and $265 price target on NVDA, implying 44.6% upside potential. He is a five-star analyst on TipRanks, ranking #16 out of 12,128 analysts tracked. Rakers has a 68% success rate and an impressive average return per rating of 36.10%.
Analysts Upbeat After Huang’s Keynote Speech
Wedbush’s Daniel Ives highlighted the massive ripple effects from the keynote. He stated that “for every $1 spent on an NVDA chip, we estimate an $8 to $10 multiplier rippling across the ecosystem.” This spans hyperscalers, software, data center buildouts, cybersecurity, and power/energy, all poised to benefit from $3 to $4 trillion in AI capex over the next three years, with Nvidia’s chips at the epicenter of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Ives concluded, “Overall GTC kicked off in gold standard fashion with Jensen today, and he did not disappoint.” He has a Buy rating and $300 price target, suggesting 63.7% upside potential.
Similarly, TD Cowen analyst Joshua Buchalter praised Nvidia’s AI factories as the top choice for the new era of Agentic AI, powered by inference. Its CUDA ecosystem, software edge, and efficiency are driving demand into 2027 and beyond. Inference is ramping up, opening doors to governments, businesses, and industries.
Despite recent stock dips, Nvidia leads with better tokens per watt for AI ROI, a full-stack factory, and new frontiers like agentic AI and physical AI. Buchalter kept his Buy rating and $235 price target, implying 28.3% upside.
Is Nvidia a Good Stock to Buy Right Now?
On TipRanks, NVDA stock has a Strong Buy consensus rating based on 38 Buys and one Hold rating. The average Nvidia price target of $273.61 implies 49.3% upside potential from current levels. Over the past year, NVDA shares have surged 53.3%.
