Intel has released new Core Ultra 9290HX Plus and Ultra 7270HX Plus processors, featuring enhanced inter-chiplet interconnect frequency and support for new technologies. The Ultra 9290HX Plus delivers an 8% boost in gaming performance and 7% improvement in single-thread performance compared to the previous generation. Multiple OEM partners will launch new systems featuring these processors.

IT Home March 17 News, after the release of “Arrow Lake Refresh” on the desktop, Intel also officially introduced two new “-HX” series processors: Core Ultra9290HX Plus and Ultra7270HX Plus.

Intel stated that the inter-core (D2D) interconnect frequency of these two processors has been increased by up to 900MHz, and they also support the new Intel binary optimization technology. Specifically, in terms of parameters, Ultra9290HX Plus offers up to an 8% improvement in gaming performance and a 7% increase in single-threaded performance compared to Ultra9285HX.

OEM partners such as Acer, ASUS, Colorful, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MAINGEAR, Mechanical Revolution, MSI, Origin, Puget, Razer, and others will start launching systems equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus processors from today.
