‘Vishwanath and Sons’ Teaser Unveiled

The teaser for the family drama ‘Vishwanath and Sons,’ starring actor Suriya, is finally out, showcasing a heartfelt bond between the actor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles. Written and directed by Venky Atluri, the film also features Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in prominent roles. The movie is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios.

Suriya plays a former pistol shooter who falls in love with Mamitha, who is 20 years younger than him. He appears to have achieved a lot, as reflected by his numerous awards, but lives a quiet, disciplined, driven, and almost obsessively solitary life. In the teaser, Mamitha Baiju is seen falling in love with Suriya but faces rejection from him due to the age difference. The teaser hints that the woman is pursuing the man, indicating that a love story is central to this romance film.

Production and Release Details

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in July this year.

The project officially began filming in May last year with a traditional pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad. Suriya’s Recent Work

Meanwhile, Suriya was last seen in Retro, which was released in theaters on May 1, 2025. The film was directed by Karthik Subbaraj and marked his first collaboration with the actor. It also starred Pooja Hegde in the lead role. (ANI)
