Raoul Pal is optimistic about Bitcoin institutionalization; traditional banks are expected to increase their involvement in 2026.
Real Vision co-founder and CEO Raoul Pal recently shared his views, stating that the ecosystem structure of the cryptocurrency market is undergoing a transformation. He pointed out that as institutional demand heats up, major banks, including mainstream financial institutions, are expected to begin large-scale promotion and deployment of Bitcoin within the next few years.
This prediction reflects a shift in the traditional financial system’s attitude toward cryptocurrencies. Raoul Pal believes that Bitcoin’s asset properties and store of value functions have been recognized by institutional investors, providing a foundation for banks and other traditional financial giants to enter the market. Once financial institutions officially get involved in the Bitcoin market, it will drive a structural upgrade of the entire cryptocurrency market, encouraging more retail and institutional participants to join.
We are now in 2026, and the market is observing whether this prediction will come true as expected. If traditional banks truly initiate Bitcoin promotion plans, it will mark a significant turning point for cryptocurrencies from niche assets to mainstream financial instruments.
