A certain whale with 30x leverage is betting against the NASDAQ 100, holding a short position worth $1.04 million.
Mars Finance reports that on March 11, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, during the last US stock market night session, a whale with an address starting with 0x980 on Hyperliquid opened a short position on XYZ100 (a Nasdaq 100 mapped contract) with 30x leverage. The opening price was $25,053, with a liquidation price of $27,406, and the position size reached $1.04 million. Hyperliquid data shows that XYZ100 is currently quoted at $24,977, down 0.4% in the past 24 hours. Volatility has narrowed, with small price fluctuations over the past two days.
