Abstract generation in progress

On the 25th, during a press briefing held by the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Administration, it was announced that Shanghai has taken the lead in launching the country’s first full online service application for foreign enterprise registration based on cross-border digital identity authentication, using the Huxin Cross-Border Digital Identity Certification as a breakthrough. Under this new service model, Singaporean companies can complete identity verification and electronic signatures online through their authorized signatories, without the need to submit paper documents offline. This reduces the time and costs associated with mailing and processing notarized documents, enabling a “no face-to-face approval” and “zero travel” registration service upgrade for foreign-invested enterprises, effectively lowering institutional transaction costs. In the future, Shanghai will continue to expand its cross-border digital trust cooperation network, providing convenient and secure digital government services for global investors, continuously improving the facilitation of foreign investment, and further enhancing Shanghai’s attractiveness as an international investment destination.
