Oil prices plummeted, with nearly $30 million in CL crude oil contracts liquidated in the past hour.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that U.S. President Trump stated in a phone interview that the (Iran) war has essentially ended. Following this news, oil prices briefly dropped by $14. During the Asian trading session, WTI crude oil rose by up to 30%, reaching a high of $119.50 per barrel. However, after Trump hinted that the war was over during the U.S. trading session, WTI crude oil fell to $81.70 per barrel, a decline of 11%.

Coinglass data shows that in the past hour, CL crude oil contracts liquidated for a total of $29.21 million.
