Chairman Mike Selig of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) stated that the regulatory agency will issue policy guidelines in the coming weeks to pave the way for compliant implementation of crypto perpetual futures in the United States. The related products are expected to enter the U.S. market around "next month." Selig pointed out that in the past, due to regulatory uncertainty, a large amount of liquidity flowed overseas. The CFTC is coordinating with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the "Project Crypto" framework to advance digital asset regulatory reforms. He also mentioned that regulatory guidelines for prediction markets will be "coming soon." (CoinDesk)
