Huawei Cloud CodeArts Intelligent Coding Agent Public Beta Released Today, Providing Developers and Enterprises with Engineering-Grade Smart Coding Solutions.

According to reports, Huawei Cloud CodeArts is an AI coding agent built on Huawei’s trillion-level codebase. It integrates code large models, IDE, and autonomous development modes, covering AI coding technologies such as code generation, research knowledge Q&A, unit test case generation, expert skills, Codebase code repository indexing, and standards-driven development. It also connects to open-source models GLM-5.0, DeepSeek-V3.2, as well as Huawei’s self-developed models, and offers a dedicated model for HarmonyOS.

Huawei Cloud CodeArts AI IDE supports multiple development environments including IDE, VS Code, JetBrains, and CLI; it understands code repositories through Codebase indexing and improves efficiency by reducing inference rounds, saving 30% tokens for the same task. Additionally, Huawei Cloud CodeArts supports the native application development language ArkTS, officially recommended for HarmonyOS, providing more accurate code generation for HarmonyOS developers.

In terms of capability expansion, Huawei Cloud CodeArts integrates models like GLM-5.0 and DeepSeek-V3.2, with ongoing training, offering models exclusive to HarmonyOS and Ascend, and supports custom third-party model integration. For agent extension, it provides a four-layer extension mechanism, allowing developers to customize agents and sub-agents, and expand agent capabilities through MCP and Skills.

Recently, AI programming has seen continuous growth in popularity. In the international market, each new plugin or model release by Anthropic has caused stock fluctuations of related companies.
