Abstract generation in progress

Eversource Energy has successfully raised $1.5 billion through its inaugural offering of hybrid bonds, aiming to refinance existing debt. The 30.5-year securities were issued in two $750 million tranches, with yields of 6.1 percent and 6.35 percent, respectively. This move follows a growing trend among utility holding companies leveraging hybrid bonds due to favorable policy changes from Moody’s Ratings.
