Iranian Foreign Minister Al Araghchi and Omani Foreign Minister Badr hold bilateral talks

Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian and Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi held a bilateral meeting in Muscat, the capital of Oman. Foreign Minister Abdollahian stated that Iran is committed to using diplomatic means to safeguard national interests and is always prepared to defend its sovereignty and security. He expressed gratitude for Oman’s efforts to promote US-Iran negotiations. Badr al-Busaidi praised Iran for demonstrating sincerity, responsibility, and a serious attitude in the diplomatic process, and noted that all regional countries are committed to preventing escalation of tensions. He expressed hope that, with good will and timely responses from all parties, this round of negotiations will pave the way for a lasting understanding between Iran and the United States.
