Severe weather continues in Spain and Portugal, with heavy rains causing flooding in many areas. The persistent adverse weather conditions have led to widespread flooding, disrupting transportation, damaging property, and affecting thousands of residents across multiple regions. Emergency services are on high alert, and authorities are urging residents to stay safe and follow evacuation orders where necessary. The situation remains critical as the storms show no signs of abating, and efforts are underway to manage the ongoing crisis.

On February 5th local time, affected by Storm “Leonardo,” heavy rainfall and severe weather occurred in many parts of Spain and Portugal, leading to flooding. Several days of heavy rain caused some rivers in southern Spain to overflow, resulting in widespread transportation disruptions and railway service interruptions. Continuous days of heavy rain have also increased the risk of floods and landslides. Currently, approximately 3,000 to 5,000 residents have been evacuated in southern Spain. (CCTV News)
