Recently participated in a governance discussion on Discord hosted by the Dusk community, and the feeling I got can be summed up in two words—surprise.
Honestly, in this crypto market filled with information noise, it's rare to encounter such a community atmosphere. No blind following, no mindless hype; all discussions revolve around technical implementation and long-term development. Participants come from various backgrounds—full-time developers, academic researchers, and ordinary blockchain enthusiasts. Interestingly, everyone’s way of communicating is very professional, yet it doesn’t feel stiff or pretentious.
What impressed me the most is that Dusk’s core team is truly listening. Not just perfunctory responses, but genuinely adjusting their thinking during discussions. This attitude is indeed rare nowadays. The overall quality of $DUSK holders is high, and both the depth and breadth of the discussions reflect this.
I think this is why Dusk can stand out among many projects. A truly democratic project that genuinely wants to co-build with the community is incredibly valuable in today’s restless market environment. If you care about the real development of blockchain and are interested in communities with ideas, Dusk is worth checking out.

Wow, the community atmosphere is really good, not so much nonsense.

Is this real? I need to check it out myself. Too many projects say this and end up being a mess.

Really, I've checked out quite a few project Discords over the past two years, and Dusk definitely feels a bit different... That kind of feeling, you know, where people are truly thinking instead of just parroting.

Wow, I finally came across a project that isn't here to just harvest the little guys. This feeling is truly rare.

tbh the "core team actually listens" line is doing a lot of heavy lifting here... empirically speaking, most projects claim the same thing. where's the data on voting participation rates? token concentration? actual proposal implementation timelines? 🤓

This is the way it should be. The team is really listening, not just pretending. It's rare.

This is what it should really look like. Can other project teams learn from it?
