#数字资产市场动态 Ethereum Ecosystem MEME Coin Nostalgic Wave

$SPURDO is here—but this is not a new concept.

The history of this character dates back to the early MEME era of the internet in 2008-2009, almost the same period as Bitcoin. Originating from Finland, its rough, adorable image went viral on 4chan, directly influencing the development of later MEME characters like PEPE, APU, BOBO, and others—those that embody a rough, comedic, and slightly satirical aesthetic, which can all be traced back to this source.

Interestingly, the revival of $SPURDO is entirely community-driven. No pre-sale tricks, no flashy fundraising stories; the core is cultural-driven. It appears to be a cute and silly image, but internally it carries the sharp edge of the early internet MEME spirit.

On Ethereum, these kinds of story-rich, well-established MEME coins actually represent a return—a return to the most fundamental driving forces of the Web3 community: creativity, consensus, and pure cultural identity.

No presale? Alright, I need to check what the large holder addresses starting with 0x in the contract hold, so it doesn't turn into another classic exit scam script.

Friend, I really didn't expect SPURDO, this old-timer, to come back to life on the chain. Pure community-driven is indeed quite interesting. The Finnish guy's nostalgia move really made me laugh. From 4chan to Ethereum, is that how it connected? Honestly, not having VC funding or financing makes it feel more refreshing. I'm just worried that later it will be messed up by capital. This is the way Web3 should be, but unfortunately most coins can't learn from it. How long SPURDO can stay popular depends on whether the community has real substance.

Damn, finally there's a coin not created just to cut leeks. I respect the fact that it's purely a community-based project.

Wait, no presale, no funding story, and you're just directly launching on the chain? I need to check if the contract code is really clean. Too many "community-driven" MEME coins actually have a bunch of permission control vulnerabilities behind them.

Haha, finally there's a coin that doesn't play the pre-sale and rug-pull tricks. No VC backing is even more appealing? This is what we should support. Back in the day, those old MEME folks would definitely be broken if they saw this—cultural identity beating fundraising stories is truly awesome.
