Why Did Crypto Rally Today?

Digital assets surged significantly over the last 24 hours, driven by two key factors reshaping market sentiment.

First, macro liquidity is flowing back into risk assets at a broader level. As traditional markets stabilize, investors are reallocating capital into higher-yield segments, and crypto is capturing a meaningful portion of this inflow.

Second—and this is where it gets interesting—the market is pricing in the SEC's long-awaited exemptive relief decision. Traders and institutions are front-running what could be a regulatory green light, betting that clarity or approval on key crypto products would unlock significant institutional demand.

The combination of renewed macro appetite and regulatory tailwinds is propelling the recent momentum. Whether this sustains depends on whether the SEC's actual decision matches market expectations.

Once SEC drops the ball, this rebound can turn into a dump in minutes. Don't get too excited.

Those SEC folks are back to harvest the retail investors. One second they say they want to regulate, the next they leak that they want to loosen restrictions. Anyway, retail investors are always the ones left holding the bag.

SEC is teasing us again. Is this really happening this time, or are they going to cut again?

Once the SEC takes action, retail investors get excited. Will this breakthrough really happen, or is it just another false alarm?

Is the SEC coming to harvest retail investors again? Relying on a single decision to pump the market is just foolish.

sec decision is just mempool noise imo... macro flow's where the real gwei patterns are shifting. if the expectations don't match reality, watch those gas fees spike like crazy lol

Will this round of SEC really deliver? It feels like everything depends on this wave. Otherwise, it's just the old trick of speculating on expectations reaching a peak.

I really don't believe that SEC approach anymore. Every time they say they will loosen regulations, but what happens? It's just hype and speculation again.
